  • How much do the exam vouchers cost?

  • How do I get a free mile2 exam?

    Military Intelligence Agency Personnel; you may be eligible for a free exam voucher. Visit this page for details.   • What are the components to the exam?

    Engineer Level Exams are usually 100 Questions derived from a large pool of questions which are randomly selected. There is a Two hour duration. 75% passing score is required. Consultant Level Exams Require a passing grade (pass/fail) for hands-on labs. Students may participate in the labs remotely or in class.

  • After passing the exam, when should I expect to receive my certificate?

    Upon passing your exam the student can expect to receive an official certificate. (Sample) Mile2 certificates are sent out as a PDF. Student exams take 6 weeks within the U.S. and up to 8 weeks to any international student. These time frames are industry standard as we have many individuals taking mile2 exams worldwide. Upon request, mile2 can issue a physical mile2 certificate in the mail. 

  • What is the mile2 exam re-take policy?

    For security reasons Mile2 has revised its policy for retaking examinations. If you fail the first examination attempt, you may re-take it at any time AFTER you notify mile2 at a 50% discount. Please request mile2 for this discount code voucher. You cannot re-take the exam until notify mile2 so that we can reset your exam+. These measures have been taken for security reasons.  Once you have passed an examination, you do not have to take it again until a whole new revision has come out. On the norm, such major revisions come out every 3 years. 

    +Mile2 uses the term "retake" to identify a candidate who has previously sat for an examination and now wishes to make another attempt. You must complete, execute and re-submit the examination registration form to retake an examination.  You must also submit the appropriate fee. Mile2 does not impose any type of "waiting period" between retake attempts. Although, to re-take an exam, you must first notify mile2 so that we can reset your exam.

  • How do I register for an exam?

    Browse to our online store.Select an exam and purchase it. Your mile2 sitewide account will be created for you when you order an exam through our store. After payment is accepted, the exam will automatically appear on our MACS system for your account online under you mymile2 account.

  • How do I take an exam if I paid for it through a training partner?


    (1.) Browse to our online store.
    (2.) Put the exam product of your choice in your cart.
    (3.) Click "View Cart"
    (4.) Click Checkout - If you have a voucher enter your EXAM VOUCHER during checkout and Your price will change to $0.00.
    (4b.) If you aren't using a voucher, you will enter payment info.
    (5.) Hit "Confirm Order".
    (6.) Click "my mile2" and look under "my exams" Your exam will appear there.

  • I purchased a mile2 exam from a training center but when I go to your online store the cart still attempts to charge me for the exam.

    If you paid for an exam voucher then the training center should give you an voucher code which they receive directly from mile2. You then can utlize this voucher code to redeem the exam on the mile2.com shopping cart. Please go through the steps to order an exam through our online store (we realize you already paid for it). When you come to the shopping cart, go ahead and type your voucher number in the shopping cart code box and the price should be reduced to zero. Go ahead and complet your order. Thereafter, your exam should have been placed into your account on MACS. You can then take your exam whenever you are ready either on-line or at a local ATC location.

  • Where do I go to take my mile2 exam?

    All mile2 exams are now administered from mile2's MACS (mile2 Assessment and Certification System) system on www.mile2.com. The MACS system can be found by logging into our website with your account. When you are logged in, you will find a link to the MACS system at the left hand side of your user menu. (It appears when you log in). Click MACS and you will find the exam your purchased or redeemed.  

  • What do I do if I registered for an exam but it's not showing up on MACS?

    Submit a ticket with mile2 at info (at) mile2.com and explain what seems to be happening. If necessary we can manually set you up to take the exam.

  • After I take my exam, when will I find out if I passed?

    If you complete your entire exam, you will be shown your score immediately after completing your exam. An email will also be sent to the email contact that was listed in your user account on mile2.com.

  • I would like to become a certified instructor for mile2, what is the process? 

    The process is normally simple and dictated by region. Generally, the following applies: 
    1. The instructor must take a Train the Trainer program. This can be done through a live online training class or alternatively as a CBT program. The CBT program is a video that is our recorded live TTT class. The CBT TTT comes with a Course video, Exam, and course kit. These options can be purchased through mile2's shopping cart Here.

    2. The instructor must take the exam via mile2's online MACS exam program and score at a minimum of 90% on the exam. 
     
    3. After the instructor passes the exam, they will receive the course slides, instructor set-up guide, virtual images/ISO's (when relative), and any other needed information for the instructor to successfully run a class. (The Virtual Images must be sent to an authorized mile2 training center to host the course).
