This can be many things such as more cameras as well as controlling who can have access in and out of the building. They can also do training drills to ensure no one without any authority can access the building as well as drills on training what to do to prevent disasters quickly.

Lastly, they should be training both the new and old security officers, so they are up to date on the procedures. This will help them to understand the correct ways to prevent disasters, they should be contacting the emergency team, and they should also be listening for any strange things going on to report as soon as they can if they may think it is a threat of some sort.
