This verse makes me think of the saying money can not buy you happiness. I interpret this as even if you have all the money you will always end up wanting more. That is where I think this verse comes in because we can only be filled by God’s will. Although, money itself is not inherently bad it is the greed that consumes someone that turns it bad. This is even stated in the bible in 1 Timothy 6:10 “For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.”. Money is not the only thing people indulge in a lot of things that maybe are not inherently bad, but it slowly pushes them away from God’s Will.
