I personally use an HDMI cord with my laptop whenever I want a bigger screen, like connecting it to a TV or monitor. It honestly makes everything easier, especially when I’m working and need to see things more clearly. USBs are something I use daily too, mostly for charging my phone or plugging in things like my mouse at work. I agree with you about USB Cs becoming more popular because it is faster and way more convenient. Both HDMI and USB really help everything run smoothly and stay connected.
