MATTHEW 24 – THE GOSPEL

They preach that Jesus is not the son of God, that he is a spirit or an Angel. That is not the gospel.

Other religions say he was a great teacher, philosopher or elevated being. Still, this is not the gospel.

Some religions preach that you have to give money, or be baptized or continuously work to obtain salvation, this is not the gospel!

The Bible says, this is the gospel. Jesus Christ is the son of God, United and the same as the father. That we cannot earn our salvation but only Christ can give us eternal life through trusting and believing in Jesus sacrifice. And in His blood and Jesus blood alone, can we be saved. That, my friend, is the gospel.

CHALLENGE

Paul wrote to the Christians in Galatia,  that “if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed.” Galatians 1:8. Don’t take it from man as to what the gospel is. Go straight to the Bible and let God tell you, not fallen man. Getting the gospel wrong has eternal ramifications. Don’t know where to begin? Perhaps at John 3:16 would be the perfect place!!
