When it comes down to troubleshooting, it is the process of finding and fixing problems. It is the process of figuring out why something isn’t working the way it’s supposed to and then finding a way to fix it. It’s a bit like being a detective, looking for clues, testing ideas and eventually narrowing things down until you discover the root of the issue. It often includes checking hardware, software, user settings, and network connections. The goal is to identify the cause and the issue and restore the system to it’s proper working condition with little downtime as possible. Troubleshooting altogether is a core skill, it keeps systems running smoothly and prevents small issues from becoming big problems. In retrospect, we all often do our own troubleshoots from time to time, and i often find myself feeling rewarded after finding the issue and then resolving it immediately.
