I have often wondered why it seems easier to sin than to follow a righteous path. It is like there is a natural pull towards the path of least resistance, where immediate gratification outweighs the effort of discipline. I realize that the struggle is part of the journey, teaching us resilience and the value of striving for something greater than ourselves. It is a constant combination of temptation and virtue; each step teaches us something new about who we are and aspire to be. Proverbs 14:12 warns that a path may seem right to a person but could ultimately lead to death, highlighting the importance of seeking wisdom beyond one’s own.
