To me this devotional means that God is doing the ultimate thing by protecting his people from Satan. That God made a dedication to free or rescue us from Satan’s power. The saying above for Mark 3:24-27 means to me that nothing can stand forever if it becomes divided by something, not even us. Also, since Jesus is confident Satan will fail up above, this to me means that he can beat Satan and be able to give freedom to those under him. This devotional is kind of confusing to me to understand completely but to me the main point of it is Jesus is stronger than Satan therefore he wins, and that Jesus is freeing his people from Satan’s grasp. Such as this devotional saying that when Jesus builds a church Satan will prevail against it this to me is the meaning of the division between things behind destroyed, but Satan will be the one to fail in this sense.
