KeymasterMATTHEW 9 – PARDON & POWER
“And, behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee” Matthew 9:2
History has presented many inspirational spiritual leaders. Each one had a significant impact on many world religions that continue even until this day.
For example, Confucius, the founder of Confucianism, emphasized personal, civic, and political morality.
Also, there was Siddhartha Gautama, who was also known as the “the enlightenment one”, who founded Buddhism; teaching asceticism and deep meditation. Buddha taught that through deprivation and mortification of the flesh, man could attain a state of awakening, or as we understand it, Nirvana.
In addition to these religious men, there was Krishna of Hinduism and Mohamed from the Islamic faith. These religions focused on external works and the deprivation of man. Although their teachings appeared to be profound, none of their doctrines ever provided a provision for the forgiveness of sins.
Although this was the case, there was one who not only preached the forgiveness of sin but He also had the authority to forgive them. His name is JESUS!
CHALLENGE
There have been thousands of Gods and spiritual leaders throughout the ages but only one has claimed to be God. And not only God but also had the power of God. Do you know Him? His name is Jesus, the Lord, and God of the universe.

ParticipantGrowing up, I always heard about God, but it wasn’t until I faced a particularly challenging time in my life that I truly came to know Him. I was going through a period of uncertainty and felt lost. During this time, I started reading the Bible more, especially the book of Matthew, and found comfort in the stories of faith and divine providence.
One night, feeling overwhelmed, I prayed earnestly for guidance and peace. Slowly, I began to notice small changes in my life. I felt a sense of calm and direction that I hadn’t experienced before. It was as if God was gently guiding me through my struggles, reassuring me that I wasn’t alone.
Now, I hope to get closer to Him by continuing to explore biblical themes like faith and integrity. I want to deepen my understanding of His word and apply it to my daily life. By doing so, I believe I can strengthen my relationship with God and live a life that reflects His love and grace.

ParticipantGrowing up in a Christian house with Christian parents its hard not to know who god is and where your faith leads you. Knowing the lord and savor the mighty God was never a fictional character in my home as a child. It was when i was older that I forgotten who he was and where my faith laid. In my past post I have told how I had forgotten and blamed and even stop[ed believing and I am blessed to find my faith again with my lord and savor and to be able to have my child in churches and have her faith rebuilt and have our father be our guidance and help us in his way of life and to help lead us in the direction for which is meant to be ours. He set our meaning and purpose in life and we will always allow him to lead us and believe in everything he sets before us.

ParticipantI grew up in a Christian household, although we were not the most disciplined of church goers for sometime. To be completely honest I don’t go to a physical church myself. I stand behind what the Bible speaks on when it comes to having a private relationship before God and not a publicized one. I pray when I feel that I need guidance and I make decisions that I can morally live with. The Lord has blessed me with a strong desire to never quit. While also testing me through several challenging paths of life. What really sums up that out Lord and Savior is the real deal. No other religions aside from Christianity and Judaism.

ParticipantAs a little girl, my understanding of God was shaped by my experiences at the church I attended. My family didn’t talk much about our heavenly father until I reached my 20s and met my husband, who shared his beliefs with me. It was at the age of 20 that I committed to Christianity and began to grow in my faith, learning and experiencing so much along the way.
