By completing this purchase, registration, certification renewal, exam registration, course enrollment, or voucher redemption, the buyer, student, candidate, certificant, or participant acknowledges and agrees to the following Mile2 Terms, Conditions, and Code of Ethics.
These terms apply to Mile2 courses, exams, certification programs, certificate programs, continuing education activities, digital badges, course materials, lab access, exam vouchers, renewal submissions, and related products or services purchased through Mile2.com or an authorized Mile2 channel.
All international orders shipped or assigned to a different address than the billing address, as well as orders of significant dollar value, may require special verification by Mile2.
For such orders, Mile2 may require exact credit card credentials, verification of billing information, and a follow-up phone call from a Mile2 representative. The exact phone number associated with the credit card billing information may be required for verification by Mile2’s risk management department.
Repeatedly submitting orders without completing required verification may result in denial or cancellation of the order. Once verification is complete and approved, Mile2 will authorize the order and distribute the associated products, services, vouchers, or course access as applicable.
Completion of any Mile2 course, module, or field of study may be predicated on full attendance and participation requirements as defined by Mile2, the applicable course, or the applicable training provider.
Failure to meet required attendance or participation standards may result in non-completion of the course or module and may negate Mile2’s obligation to issue completion records, certificates of completion, or related course benefits.
Mile2 requires written notification of cancellation or rescheduling at least fifteen business days prior to the scheduled class or training event.
Class cancellations made less than fifteen business days prior to the start date may be charged a 100% cancellation fee. Program students may be charged retail tuition for all modules attended. Absence without notice may be charged at 100% of tuition.
Cancellation fees may be credited to rescheduled attendance, subject to availability and Mile2 approval. Mile2 reserves the right to reschedule a course or provide an alternative Guaranteed to Run course in place of the originally registered course without penalty.
Mile2 reserves the right to withdraw a student from any class, program, exam, lab, or learning environment for reasons including, but not limited to, disruptive conduct, inappropriate behavior, violation of policy, misuse of systems, unauthorized software use, or inability to maintain the learning level of normal class instruction.
Transfers among class sections may be approved only on a space-available basis.
Students are not permitted to bring unauthorized software, tools, scripts, malware, exploit code, or personal software into Mile2 classrooms, training systems, labs, or cyber range environments unless expressly authorized by Mile2. Installing, uploading, executing, or distributing unauthorized software on Mile2 systems, training computers, or lab environments may result in immediate dismissal and loss of access.
Students agree to abide by all parking, food, drink, facility, safety, and smoking policies in effect at the Mile2 training location. If food or drink brought into a classroom or training environment causes damage to equipment, the responsible participant may be liable for the cost of damage and repair.
All candidates, certificants, certificate holders, students, and participants in Mile2 certification, certificate, examination, badge, renewal, or continuing education activities must agree that they have read, understood, and will comply with the Mile2 Code of Ethics and Certification Holder Agreement.
This agreement applies to all Mile2 certifications, certificate programs, exams, digital badges, certification renewals, continuing education submissions, and certification-related claims, including ANAB-accredited Mile2 certifications where applicable.
All persons shall comply with the applicable provisions of the Mile2 certification scheme, examination policies, recertification requirements, continuing education requirements, candidate agreements, badge use policies, and all other certification program rules established by Mile2.
All information, applications, documentation, continuing education units, renewal submissions, exam registration information, and supporting evidence submitted to Mile2 must be accurate, authentic, complete, and personally completed or earned by the person submitting it.
A person shall only submit continuing education units that they personally completed and shall only provide accurate and authentic information for earning, maintaining, or renewing a Mile2 certification.
If, at any time after earning a certification, a certification holder is unable to fulfill certification, recertification, continuing education, or ethical requirements, the certification holder must notify Mile2 as soon as possible through the Mile2 support system.
A person may make claims regarding Mile2 certification only with respect to the specific certification scope, title, status, and credential granted by Mile2.
A person shall not claim or imply certification in any area outside the certification scope identified by Mile2, including the applicable exam outline, certification scheme, course outline, credential description, or published certification requirements.
Mile2 certification titles, certificates, and digital badges may be used only in a truthful, accurate, current, and non-misleading manner. This includes appropriate use on resumes, professional biographies, personal websites, business profiles, and professional social media accounts, provided the claim accurately reflects the credential earned and its current certification status.
A person shall not alter, reproduce, transfer, distribute, sell, lend, or provide Mile2 badge files, certificate files, certification credentials, or certification information to another person for any improper purpose, including credential forgery, impersonation, unauthorized representation, or misrepresentation.
A person shall not use a Mile2 certification, certificate, badge, logo, designation, credential, or certification status in a manner that is false, misleading, deceptive, unauthorized, or likely to cause confusion.
A person shall not use a Mile2 certification in a manner that may bring Mile2, the certification body, the certification program, the certification process, ANAB-accredited certification activities, or the cybersecurity profession into disrepute.
A person shall not make any statement regarding Mile2 certification that Mile2 considers misleading, unauthorized, inaccurate, deceptive, or inconsistent with the applicable certification scheme.
A person shall not solicit clients, employment, contracts, or professional opportunities through false or misleading communications, advertisements, resumes, profiles, or representations of Mile2 certification status.
It is a violation of this policy for any person to participate in cheating, attempted cheating, breach of examination security, misconduct, submission of fraudulent information, impersonation, unauthorized assistance, unauthorized disclosure, or any other behavior that Mile2 determines could compromise the integrity, validity, security, fairness, or confidentiality of a Mile2 certification examination, certification process, certificate program, or continuing education program.
Participants shall not disclose, copy, reproduce, transmit, photograph, discuss, distribute, publish, sell, or make available any Mile2 examination items, answers, exam content, exam forms, scoring information, confidential lab solutions, or confidential certification processes to any person or party outside of authorized Mile2 personnel.
Violation of exam integrity, confidentiality, or certification security requirements may result in invalidation of exam results, denial of certification, suspension, withdrawal, or revocation of certification, removal of badge privileges, denial of recertification, cancellation of access, or other action deemed appropriate by Mile2.
A person shall offer and provide professional services with integrity, honesty, fairness, and competence.
A person shall perform professional services in a manner that is fair and reasonable to clients, principals, partners, employers, and other stakeholders, and shall disclose conflicts of interest when providing such services.
A person shall maintain the knowledge and skill necessary to continue performing competently in the areas in which they are certified.
A person shall not disclose confidential client, employer, candidate, or organizational information without proper authorization, unless required by law.
While performing professional activities, a person shall not engage in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, misrepresentation, or knowingly make a false or misleading statement to a client, employer, employee, professional colleague, governmental body, regulatory body, official, or any other person or entity.
If a Mile2 certification is suspended, expired, withdrawn, or revoked, the certification holder must immediately discontinue the use of all claims to certification that contain any reference to Mile2, the certification body, the certification title, the certificate, the digital badge, the certification logo, or certification status.
This includes discontinuing use of any Mile2 badge, certificate, certification title, logo, designation, or related claim for an expired, suspended, withdrawn, or revoked certification.
Upon request by Mile2, the certification holder must return, delete, remove, or otherwise discontinue use of any certificate, badge, or certification representation issued by Mile2.

The ANAB-accredited certifications C)ISSO-A and C)PTE-A are separate accredited certification offerings and should not be misrepresented as identical to, interchangeable with, or automatically granted by completion of any non-accredited Mile2 course, training program, or traditional certification exam.
