      There are many different types of operating applications. one that is very popular is word processors. This type of application allows you to create and save word documents. This application is used in most schools and work environments. Another application that is very popular in work and school is the E-Mail application. Email applications are used to communicate all over the world. email applications allow our servers to quickly communicate with others devices. Media player is another type of application. This software allows you to play audio files as well as view media such as pictures. Lastly a web browser such as safari and chrome are also types of operation applications. Unlike operating systems operating application with within the computer to complete a specific task while operating systems work with connecting the hardware and software

      Database applications, the backbone of efficient data management, are indispensable software tools. They are crucial in retrieving, managing, and sharing information among multiple users. Enterprise applications are the problem-solving heroes of businesses. Because of the various processes within the organization, enterprise application development requires high stability and reliability. Web-Based application is easily accessed online through a web browser. It works like a mobile app on a mobile device and can be used on any internet-connected device, such as desktops, PCs, and tables. Custom applications are designed specifically for individual users or groups within the organization to assist them in completing their specific tasks.

They are crucial in retrieving, managing and sharing information amongst multiple users.       Four Different applications would be Microsoft which has vey many different applications like power point and word and slideshows and much more. Second would be windows which allows the computer systems to do many different approaches to connecting to different areas of the network. Third I would have to say would be Linux it runs our mobile devices and then there is chrome which is the one I use the most it allows me the resources I know where and how to find which paths is best to use and take.

        Hi Erin, I agree that these are all very useful applications. But for me, Chrome is the most essential. I use it every day for work and leisure, and it’s become my primary tool for accessing the internet. It’s fast, reliable, and has a wide range of extensions that make it even more powerful.

      Four main applications are Adobe Acrobat, allows a user to open, edit, and organize different PDF files on the application. Microsoft Excel, allows users to track numbers through formula based calculations the user inputs. Microsoft Access, allows a user to create information packets that track personal, inventory, sales, and more. Microsoft Word, allows a user to create a word document that follows the specifications of the users needs.

        Hello Addison,

        After reading your discussion I’m confused as to whether an operating system and an operating application are the same. I thought operating systems were like linux and mac and application were like word and media player. Your paper is very detailed and provides really good information.
